Banjo Paterson Cottage Restaurant operates from a beautiful sandstone building dating back to the 1830's.

Situated within 5 acres of parkland the restaurant is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the water, making it ideal for garden ceremonies.

Immediately below the cottage, on the foreshores of the Parramatta River, is a substantial tidal jetty suitable for all types of boats, also allowing access for water taxis which is a lovely way for the bride & groom or guests to arrive or depart. The restaurant's old-world charm is highlighted by several open fireplaces and the views from our 2 spacious, fully enclosed verandahs are stunning.

The foundation of our food is bread made of wheat flour including ekmek, pide, simit and manti.

Grains are equally important, and you will find that bulgar and pilav are staples of the Toros kitchen.

I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t ever gone!
